Walking in Arlington and the Old Schwamb Mill present a Fall historical walking tour, On & Off Mass Ave in East Arlington. The walk will be led by local historian Edward Gordon on Saturday, October 19th, 2019. Pre-registration is required!

We will see historic homes and churches dating from the late 1700s to the early 1900s. We will learn about Victorian era industries, and get a taste of the current art scene in Capitol Square. Side streets, main streets and waterways will reveal their history.

We will gather at 8:45am and should be done by 11:30am. The walk will last about 2 1/2 hours, and will be held rain or shine. The tour is not suitable for dogs however trained service animals are always welcome. Children are welcome if they are sturdy walkers, or will be in carriers or strollers. The group is limited to 30 people. Remember to include your email address with your registration. The meeting place is not the usual one. Location of the meeting place will be sent to pre-registered participants.
