Crescent Hill and Mt. Gilboa

Walking In Arlington and the Old Schwamb Mill are cosponsoring a historical walking tour of the hills on one side of Arlington Heights. We will learn about architectural, economic and transportation history, with some interesting tidbits on trees past and present.

The walk route will be hilly, will last about 2 hours, and will be held rain or shine. Please dress for the weather. The tour is not suitable for children under 10 or dogs. Group is limited to 30. Meeting point will be sent to pre-registered participants.

The cost of the tour is $15 per person, and reservations are required. Make checks payable to Walking In Arlington. Proceeds will go to the pedestrian advocacy work of Walking in Arlington, with donations to the historic preservation work of the Old Schwamb Mill, and the “Trees Please” fund of the Arlington Tree Committee.
